If written cancellation of registration is received by the BCWF office 45 days prior to AGM and Convention date, a full refund will be issued. 

Cancellation received 15 – 45 days prior will have a $35.00 administration fee deducted from the refund. 

No refund will be issued less than 15 days prior to the AGM except in the case of a proven emergency.  Registrants who do not attend and have not cancelled 15 days in advance will forfeit the full registration fee.

Accommodation is NOT included with your Registration.  

Delegates are responsible for arranging their own accommodations.


Reminder: As per BCWF Bylaws, the following are Member Club’s AGM registration options for Voting Delegates. 

Please Note: Club Voting Delegates are based on the numbers submitted for your Club’s 2018 Renewal .  

Accredited delegate entitlement for member clubs shall be based on each Club’s membership numbers as submitted for the 2018 Renewal on or before December 31,2018 and as follows:

  • With 100 OR Fewer Members are entitled to "ONE" Voting Delegate
  • Clubs with 101 - 200 Members are entitled to "TWO" Voting Delegates
  • Clubs with 201 - 500 Members are entitled to "THREE" Voting Delegates
  • Clubs with OVER 501 Members are entitled to "THREE" Voting Delegate and "ONE" Additional Delegate for each additional 500 Members
  • Eeach of the 10 Regions are entitled to "ONE” Regional Voting Delegate and "ONE” Regional Youth Voting Delegate
  • Other Non-Voting Youth may register but they will not receive a Voting Card

The 2015 Conservation Fundraiser takes place Saturday, April 25th, 2015 at Fernie Memorial Arena, and will be hosted by the Fernie Rod & Gun Club.

In a departure from previous years, please note that tickets to the 2015 Conservation Fundraiser – which is being held in conjunction with the Fernie Rod & Gun Club – are optional and are not included as part of the registration fee for the 2015 AGM.

Submission for the Direct Member Delegate is now OPEN.

BCWF Direct Members (those that are not Members of a Fish & Game Club), are entitled to send voting delegates to represent the Direct Members’ Club at the 2019 BCWF AGM & Convention, in accordance with section 7.2 of the BCWF Constitution & Bylaws (see below).

The BCWF Executive Committee will review applicants from the Direct Members and select delegates up to the eligible number as set out in the voting entitlement in section 7.2 of the Bylaws.  These delegates will become representatives of the Direct Members’ Club and each shall be allowed one vote in the deliberations of the Annual General Meeting. 

Direct Member delegates chosen will be expected to represent the diverse interests of the Direct Members and speak on their behalf at the AGM.  In addition to their participation at the event, the Direct Member delegates are required to submit a written report on the AGM & Convention that will be circulated through BC Outdoors after the event.

How to Apply

In addition to completing the standard Registration Form, Direct Members that are interested in attending the 63rd BCWF AGM & Convention as a Direct Member Delegate are also required to submit a short letter outlining their reasons for wanting to attend the event.

Direct Member Delegate applications must be received by or before February 15th, 2019.

7.2 Entitlement

Unless otherwise stated, each Regional Wildlife Association shall be entitled to one accredited delegate.

(a) Each branch or member club, including the Direct Members’ Club, of the Federation with a membership of 100 members or fewer shall be entitled to one accredited delegate.

(b) Each branch or member club, including the Direct Members’ Club, of the Federation with a membership of 101 to 200 members shall be entitled to two accredited delegates.

(c) Each branch or member club, including the Direct Members’ Club, of the Federation with a membership of 201 to 500 members – three (3) accredited delegates.

      (1) That one additional accredited delegate be added for each additional 500 members above          501 club members.

   (d) Each accredited delegate shall be entitled to vote on the proceedings at the Annual General            Meeting.
