About
In recent years the Wetlands Education Program have been increasing their input for wetland restoration. In 2017, wetland restoration work was completed in Meadow Creek, Chilliwack, Salmo, near Canal Flats, and near Kimberly. We were also able to design wetlands for future restoration on Salt Spring Island, Vancouver Island, near Fort St. John, in the Lower Mainland, Revelstoke, and at various locales acros the Kootenays.

When the opportunity arises, the Wetlands Education Program hosts wetland restoration/construction workshops or related events to improve wetland habitat in BC. Get involved with the various steps into constructing or restoring a wetland!
